How to use coconutBattery for beginners

- Go to the official website:
👉 https://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/ - Click the “Download” button to get the app.
- Open the downloaded .zip file and drag the coconutBattery app into your Applications folder.
🔋 Checking Your MacBook’s Battery Health
When you open the app, you’ll instantly see battery info such as:
- Current Charge: Your battery’s current charge level (in mAh)
- Full Charge Capacity: The maximum charge your battery can currently hold
- Design Capacity: The original battery capacity when the Mac was new
- Cycle Count: Number of full charge-discharge cycles
- Battery Temperature: Current battery temperature
📌 If your Full Charge Capacity drops more than 15–20% from Design Capacity, your battery is likely aging.
📱 Checking Battery Health for iPhone or iPad
You can also check the battery status of an iPhone or iPad by connecting it via USB (or enabling Wi-Fi sync):
- Plug your iPhone/iPad into your Mac
- Unlock the device and tap “Trust” if prompted
- Open coconutBattery and click on the “iOS Device” tab
You’ll see details like:
- Battery Charge: Current battery level
- Full Charge Capacity: Current maximum battery capacity
- Design Capacity: Battery capacity as per factory specs
- Cycle Count: Number of full charge cycles (might not show on all devices)
